Up In the Air
















I just spent a few days in Portland. It turns out that many of the cliches are true. Even the city's children are hipsters. Aside from its dank climate, the defining characteristic of Portland is the kindness of its citizens. The friendly people of Portland smile, eagerly assist one another and display a remarkable level of civility. Such sweetness made me feel slightly uncomfortable. Meanwhile, back at the ranch, Kansas Citians snipe at one another like rats on a sinking ship.

    My friend Lee once said something about the small stakes inflating the level of vitriol, Anon and BGO.

    I toured a large rose garden directly below the Japanese gardens on the big hill on the east side of town, Nick. Is that the one? It being February and all, the roses were clipped. I had a good time laughing at their silly names.

    This is without doubt a site that people need to get behind. The problem is, no one wants to do a huge deal of reading and not have something else to stimulate the mind. This is the internet, after all. Maybe if you added a video or two to emphasise your point. Ill stick around, FOR SURE. But, I dont know if others will.
