Is 66207 In Alaska?

I regret beating a dead reindeer, but honestly, this has been the most brutal winter I've experienced. This morning's snow is sticking and the sun is a faint suggestion. I used to think that old folks retreated to Arizona and Florida to die. Only now am I beginning to realize what the geezers knew all along- these taxing Midwestern winters can shave years off your life.

I woke up sick, sore and angry and made my sweetie feel rotten. I think I lost 5 years today. I drove downtown and parked over a half of mile from work with an inch of snow piling up on my winter coat.

And by the way Airborne has to pay out 23 million bucks plus to settle a law suit about false claims about its products effectiveness.

Sorry to hear this is the most brutal winter you've experienced. Having moved to Olathe six years ago from Massachusetts, I can say this one doesn't even make a dent in my most brutal list. Doesn't even come close.

It's been a real soul-sapping season for me, Anon. I once came so close to moving to Boston for a job that I shopped for homes there. The realtor pointed out that a few locations had driveways that would require chains on my tires in the winter months. Ugh.

I'm sorry, BGO, that you're still in a rut. But I'm not about to swear off Airborne.

Snow is the only part of winter that I actually like. Magical playground.
