Accumulation
Snow is falling like sand through an hourglass as write these words. Never mind that my feet are wet or that flights at the airport were delayed a couple hours this morning. And the knowledge that a shovel will play a major role in my day makes my knees hurt. I'm willing to set those concerns aside for a moment. The beauty of it all takes my breathe away.

Thanks, RG. My knees are fine. My lower back, however, is feeling the effects of shoveling four inches of wet snow.

Never, Anon!
I realize that the weather "experts" are predicting that 4-8 of snow will fall after the Super Bowl ends, UL, but light snow is coming down right now.
Where's that bottle of Aleve?

i guess i look at like this: physically i'm not in the best of shape to shovel 4 inches of heavy snow on a two-car driveway, city sidewalk and patio for the hounds. i figure that the $30 it costs me saves me the exertion and helps someone who does it to earn a living. we both win. - anon. (mike t.)
p.s. and lucky the forecast kept trending downward on snow amounts. yay!

There's probably some stimulus money available for you, Mike.
And it sure feels icy right about now...
