we used to run 'round there back in the 60s, up to no good as you might expect. as i recall there weren't any "crazy little women there" as kcpd had fairly corralled the hookers by that point. liquor and boo were available, of course, as well as all the trouble you could handle. seems to me one of the early gates bbq places was nearby, too: 11th and something...
