"The Poisonous Damp of Night"
I love Shakespeare in the Park so much that I ventured into the abominable heat Sunday to catch a production of Antony and Cleopatra. Less than 300 people had the same idea. The audience was easily the smallest I've witnessed at the annual festival. The smaller scale allowed me to watch from an unusually close vantage point with fewer distractions from disinterested people. The production is excellent. I cosign on Robert Trussell's positive review, although I'll suggest that Kim Martin-Cotten is miscast as Cleopatra. The ideal Cleopatra should look as if she's reveling in the heat.
