Crutch

Even as I become more nimble on crutches, the most rudimentary situations still require absurd amounts of strategy. Extricating myself from a toilet seat, scaling stairs and retreiving an object from the floor become rudimentary ballets executed only after tremendous forethought. And it hurts.

HIB in a tutu! Hope the ballets improve & you do too!

When I was all crutched up a few years back, I found the rolling office chair to be a true friend, indeed. It rolled out of the office, into the kitchen, all around the house. Stairs? Well, it was a great excuse for my husband to go downstairs and do the laundry for me.

Hope you feel better and more ambulatory soon! Enjoy the OXC while you can....

    Thanks, ladies.

Per your comment a week or two ago, RG, the brazen shamelessness of most of our politicians fascinates me.

Here's to hoping that you're off the crutches soon, and that the OXC doesn't run out before the pain stops.

I appreciate the thought, M. Fact is, I'm running only on ibuprofen (the good stuff was gone after a couple of days). X-rays tomorrow.
