Sealed

I don't use air conditioning in my car. Consequently, I spend much of the summer swimming in perspiration. My hair is a joke. I don't expect others to drive with their windows down. That's their business. But the weather was ideal a couple days ago. I couldn't help noticing that about half of my fellow drivers were celebrating so-called Earth Day sealed inside their cars.

It was way more than half that had those windows up. It's pretty ridiculous.

I drove from Lee's Summit to Mission on the highway with my windows open yesterday. It was glorious at the time, but getting the tangles out of my hair later was rather painful.

I figure that we get about 36 perfect days a year in Kansas City, Chimp. It's crazy not to soak them in.

I might someday sport dreads, AJ. It won't be a fashion statement. It'll be nature taking its course.

This time of year, my fashion statement is to remove all of the side panels from my Jeep.

AC is not an option for our old heap. It does not work and the financial burden to fix it is not presently an option. So...we, like you, will be driving with windows down as spring turns to hot and humid summer.

    That sounds really nice, UL.

Fiddling with some of the dashboard settings in my vehicle requires a pair of pliers, BGO. And closing the windows gives new meaning to the term "manual."
