The hand-wringing about allegedly limited parking for events at the new Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts mystifies me. Does walking a few blocks really present such a challenge? My usual strategy is to park around 17th and Summit and hope that Los Alamos is open. I prefer the modest market to the nearby fashionable restaurants. And it's a mere five-minute walk to Kauffman.
