Poncho's isn't just for 2 a.m. I once thought of the midtown greasy spoon exclusively as a late-night destination. Just because I no longer live that lifestyle doesn't mean that I quit frequenting Poncho's. I now hit it on my way to music venues rather than using it as a post-party refuge. The sole downside is the telltale signs of grease and salsa on my pants and shirt. It's as messy as it delicious.
