Sweatin' With the Oldies

Yesterday's heat probably melted a couple pounds off my chunky frame. Heat-based perspiration is an underrated sensation, although it ranks well below the supremely satisfying reward of quenching the subsequent thirst. Further confirmation of the seasonal change struck me when I spotted this new crop. It looks like the front lawn of Emerald City.

Heat? You consider 75 degrees to be heat? I'm surprised you're able to make it throu June/July/August in KC.

Because I'm such a manly man, Emaw, I have a job that requires a bit of physical labor. It's not like I'm digging ditches, but for a guy in my condition, it's pretty rugged. And yesterday was the first "hot" one. I'll lose some of my winter padding as I gradually acclimate.

To acclimate is to assimilate!
I say, NEVER!!
There are approximately 2 weeks in the spring and 2 weeks in the fall when the weather is acceptable to me.
The rest of the year it sucks.
